Welcome To - Dearne Valley Venture Ltd.

We are a registered charity who specialise in Life - Long Learning for the ages of 8 - 80+.

We provide training, skilled development, fitness classes and advice services for the people of the Dearne Valley, and have been around for 21years.

We are a unique organisation in as much as we work across all three of the Dearne Valley metropolitan areas - Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham.  We are totally independent from any other organisation.

We run an after school - club for children from the ages of 8 to 17yrs. Various outdoor activities are arranged for them, and the Computer suite is available to all the local youth to complete homework assignments during our opening hours.
Our young people are involved in many projects and activities from managing bullying to non-cook cooking.

We are responsible for computer - based training that goes on at the Renaissance Centre.
Unlike many organisations that are around, we are very much community - led, that is, if enough students ask for a particular course then we will endeavour to make it available to them. 
We can train individuals in one-to-one training or group training in our IT Suite.
