Voluntary Action Barnsley:
Provide support and volunteer workers to assist in achieving Activate objectives.




WEA:
The Workers Educational Association run the family history class and Art group, we have also worked in partnership to launch “Volunteers Helping in Schools” a pilot project for the Dearne Valley.





 

Prospects training:
Provide volunteers to Activate on the “community task force scheme”




Options:
Barnsley Development Agency runs a free job club providing professional advice for job seekers



 




Dearne Valley College:
Run short bespoke courses to local residents who have been unemployed for more than 6 months.
